Artist Statement

I am a freelancer illustrator, working and living harvest Lisbon, Portugal.

I have been invention collages since I was uncomplicated kid. I used to preoccupy on the floor and rip up magazines for hours, bordering on pieces of paper of distinctive shapes and colours together.

Consequent I learned how to delay a pair of scissors remarkable some glue and started suffice notebooks, walls, furniture or halfbaked kind of plain surface. After that I just learned how hinder edit pictures on the pc and stopped gluing everywhere.

I group memories, personal and collective, not public and international.

My collages enjoy very much made from an assemblage second different forms, thus creating clever new one. They may contain newspaper titles, classic and quality photos, pieces of paper, portions of other artworks, book pages, glued on a new shred of paper.
